New features
  • Added the method scrollToFormField(STFormFieldInfoDTO, boolean) to STSignoViewer. It scrolls the document to the specified form field and optionally gives the field focus.
Changes
  • The API now uses Bouncy Castle instead of the no longer maintained Spongy Castle to build the signature data structure. Created signatures remain compatible.
  • Updated STPdfLib to 18.24.6.
Bug fixes
  • Fixed an issue where adding another signature field to a document invalidated existing signatures.
  • Fixed an issue where the signing time was not stored in the date format required by the PDF specification, so that strict PDF viewers such as Foxit Reader displayed an invalid date such as 1601/01/01.
  • Fixed an issue where signing a document could cause a crash if a signature field in the document did not specify the page it belongs to.
  • Fixed an issue where getDocumentMetaData() still returned the metadata of the previous document after unloadDocument() had been called. It now returns an empty string.
  • Fixed an issue where the license texts in the delivery package did not match the included third-party components and the privacy policy was missing in German.
  • Fixed an issue where the text search methods startTextSearch, finishTextSearch and scrollToSearchResult could make the user interface stutter or briefly freeze in documents with a lot of text, especially when navigating between search results.
