Appenzeller Cantonal Bank chooses signotec

As part of its digital transformation, Appenzeller Kantonalbank (APPKB) will be using signoSign/2 from signotec in future. A total of 30 licences for the signature software have been secured, which will be integrated into the new investment tool UnRiskOmega. This is due to go live in autumn 2025.

The aim of the project is to embed electronic signatures directly into investment advice – efficiently, securely and in a legally compliant manner. In doing so, APPKB is laying the foundations for a modern, end-to-end signature solution across the entire bank.

In the long term, digital signatures are to be used not only in the investment sector, but also in other processes such as internal document approval (e.g. loan agreements, visas) or when sending documents to customers for digital signature.
