From signature pads to remote signatures

At TAXarena Stuttgart 2026, signotec presented solutions at booth 21 in the Haus der Wirtschaft that are specifically tailored to the requirements of modern tax advisory firms for efficient and legally compliant signature processes. The historic building symbolizes innovation and economic progress and provided the perfect setting for exchanges with tax advisors, firms, and software providers.

signotec showcased a wide range of innovative solutions related to electronic signatures. Particular focus was placed on the combinations of signoSign/2, signoSign/Universal, and the various signature pads.

signoSign/2 – Desktop application for on-site signatures

  • Capture electronic signatures directly within the firm using signature pads or Windows tablets.
  • Integration with DATEV or other practice management systems: import documents, sign them, and automatically archive them as revisions.
  • Automation of recurring processes such as creating signature fields, recognizing documents, archiving, or forwarding them to signoSign/Universal.
  • Signatures compliant with ISO and eIDAS standards, ensuring seamless, media-disruption-free workflows within the firm.

 

signoSign/Universal – Remote signatures for location- and time-independent work

  • Web or mobile application for smartphones, tablets, or browsers.
  • Securely share documents, have them signed by external parties, and retrieve them afterward.
  • Support for workflows with multiple signatories in any order.
  • Ideal for hybrid work models; signatures remain seamless and legally compliant.

 

DIGISign – DATEV integration (Austria)

  • Enables on-site and remote signatures directly within the DATEV environment.
  • Compatible with all DATEV archiving systems (DMS Classic, DATEV DMS, digital document storage).
  • Full status monitoring and automatic archiving as revisions, compliant with ISO and eIDAS standards.
