New update for signoSign/2 (version 11.13.0)

An overview of highlights, new features and bug fixes
With the signoSign/2 software, you can create PDF documents, sign them by hand and process them automatically. You can use signotec signature pads, a Windows tablet PC or an Android or Apple iOS mobile device as an input device for handwritten signatures.
Here are the key new features of version 11.13.0 at a glance:
- It is now possible to store default values for mobile phone numbers and email addresses in the document type for document sharing.
- Documents can optionally be provided with an additional document signature during archiving, e.g. for automatic invoice signatures.
- The delivery method for sharing documents can now be configured globally as well as on a document type-specific basis. Sharing documents via QR code is therefore now also available regardless of the configured email settings.
- The advanced mode for creating signature fields is now the default for new installations. This mode allows for more flexible manual creation of signature fields.
- The display and sorting of stamps and seals has been revised and simplified – in particular to improve the distinction between global and user-specific stamps and seals.
- The PDF printer has been updated.
- The demo version of the ‘Pro’ version has been revised and now includes watermarks.
- DATEVconnect is now also available in the demo version of signoSign/2.
- The check for API availability of the DATEVconnect interface has been improved.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the „Open documents exclusively“ function was not working correctly.
- Fixed a bug that caused text search to fail in certain cases.
- Fixed a bug where text extraction failed when a document was transferred via URL.
- Fixed a bug where the stamp size did not adjust to changed image files.
- Fixed a bug where the stamp list was not updated after deleting a stamp.
- Fixed a bug where a stamp was mistakenly displayed as the mouse pointer even though no stamp was selected.
- Fixed a bug where modified mouse pointers did not take display scaling (DPI) into account.
- Fixed a bug where resaving in the follow-up list appended the file extension ‘.pdf’.
- Fixed a bug where the ‘Reload’ function for documents did not work in certain situations.
- Fixed a bug where scanner settings for brightness and contrast were not saved on a per-user basis.
- Fixed a bug where the column width could not be changed when assigning fields in the Workflow Wizard.
- General bug fixes and improvements

Discontinuation of the Mobile Capture Plug-in
The Mobile Capture Plug-In for signoSign/2 will be discontinued on 31 December 2025. Further development will cease and the plug-in will no longer be supported in future versions. We recommend signoSign/Universal as an alternative for mobile signing. We are happy to assist you with a smooth transition and provide further information.
Installation notes:
- All customers with an active software maintenance contract (AMS) can download and install the update free of charge as usual. If you do not have such a contract, you are not entitled to the update and must purchase it at your own expense. Please note that the software can no longer be used after the update without a valid and appropriate licence! It is not possible to revert to the old version!
