New update for signoSign/2 (version 12.2.0)

With the signoSign/2 software, you can create PDF documents, sign them by hand and process them automatically. To enter a handwritten signature, you can use signature pads or pen displays from signotec, a Windows tablet PC, or a mobile device running the Android or Apple iOS operating system.

New features

Workflow templates for signoSign/2

The workflow templates (‘Blueprints’) from signoSign/Universal are now also available in signoSign/2. You set up a complete signature process just once — including documents, recipients, signature and authentication methods, and the accompanying text — and can then restart it with just a few clicks. Recurring processes such as onboarding documents, contracts or form workflows can thus be set in motion in seconds, rather than having to be reconfigured each time.

Note: Workflow templates require a signoSign/Universal licence. Templates you create there can be used immediately in signoSign/2.

Also new:

• When sharing documents, the configuration from the share dialogue now takes precedence and completely overrides the document configuration stored in signoSign/Universal.
• signoSign/2 is now based on .NET 8 and benefits from its performance and modern platform support; the setup automatically installs the runtime environment if required.

Bug fixes:

• Sending emails via SMTP is now more reliable.
• Signing: Unselected radio buttons remain operable.
• Form fields: Latvian and Polish special characters are displayed correctly.
• Pen displays and tablet PCs: Input offset when scaling is not 100% has been fixed.
• Window positions have been corrected for DPI scaling.
• Bug fixes for licence verification when using a proxy.
• Workflow: Deleting documents works again; document names are displayed in the list; ‘Click to Sign’ is available when creating a document; password authentication disabled in the configuration is no longer offered.
• Crashes resolved: When opening documents in isolated cases and when inserting a seal.
• Archiving: Import of document types with UNC paths has been corrected; the signature dialogue closes correctly when printing or sending via email after archiving.
• Storage paths for signature images and biometric data have been corrected.
• The follow-up file is now deleted correctly if the user has changed.
• DATEV: Fixed an issue with opening multiple Word documents from DATEV DMS; DATEVconnect now works more reliably even when the document structure has changed; minor corrections have been made to the DATEV dialogues.
• The button for replacing the standby image is now displayed correctly.
• Further minor bug fixes.

Installation notes:

The update is free of charge if you have an active software maintenance contract (AMS) or a signoSign/2 subscription. The subscription already includes software maintenance. In both cases, download and install the update as usual. All other customers must purchase the update.

Please note: The new version requires a licence that covers this version. You should therefore check your licence before installation – it is not possible to revert to the previous version.
