New update for signoSign/Universal (version 3.23.0)

With the signoSign/Universal web application, you can sign your documents with greater flexibility than ever before. Use the application on your computer, smartphone or tablet. Capture signatures in person or send documents to your contractual partners for them to sign.
Here are the key new features and bug fixes at a glance:
New features
- signotec Delta can now display and scroll through large documents with more than 21 A4 pages.
Bug fixes
- Improved error handling when the connection to the signature pad fails.
- General bug fixes for the signotec Delta’s read mode.
- Bug fix for an issue where saving documents in quick succession caused an error.
- Bug fix for an issue where emails could not be sent if the customised logo was unavailable. The standard logo is now used as a fallback.
- Bug fix for a situation where workflow emails were not sent in certain circumstances.
- Bug fix for an issue where it was incorrectly displayed that a document had already been modified by another user.
- Fixes for issues when using signature fields with special characters in their names.
- Bug fixes and improvements to the retrieval of statistics.
- Bug fixes regarding the use of LTV signatures.
- Bug fix for blocked WebSocket connections causing annoying errors.
- Bug fixes regarding integration as an iFrame.
- Further improvements and bug fixes.

Update notes:
CLOUD:
As usual, the update is automatically made available in the cloud. There are no special considerations to note.
ON-PREMISES:
- ATTENTION: INCOMPATIBILITY: For customers with their own servers (on-premises), this version causes incompatibilities when using the supplied H2 database. In general, the H2 database is only suitable for testing purposes and should not be used in production. Instead, a managed database such as MySQL should be used. The included H2 database has undergone a major update in this version to address known security vulnerabilities. The update is not compatible with existing H2 databases. Data migration is not possible. The existing database must therefore be deleted so that signoSign/Universal can create a new database in the new version the next time it is started. An external database should be connected for production use. For customers who have already connected an external database (e.g. MySQL), this change has no impact.
- Please note that the update can only be carried out by a system administrator.
- Please check before the update whether any changes to the integration are necessary.
- If an external database is used, it may be necessary to extend the database schema using the migration tool.
- From version 3.13.x onwards, the use of a database is mandatory. Operation without a database is no longer possible!
