Adobe Acrobat Plug-In 8.3.0: An overview of all new features and improvements
The signotec Adobe Acrobat Plug-In is an extension for Adobe Acrobat Reader and Pro. This additional interface allows you to sign PDF documents and forms directly within the familiar Adobe environment – without any disruption to your workflow or application.
Here is an overview of the key new features in version 8.3.0:
- The new online licensing is now also available for the Adobe Acrobat Plug-In, enabling simpler and more flexible licensing of the plug-in, particularly for large installations and in terminal server environments.
- Bug fix for an issue where an empty dialogue box was displayed when confirming a signature.
- Bug fix regarding the use of digital IDs.

Installation notes:
- Please note: A new licensing procedure was introduced with version 8.3.0. If you are updating from an older version to the current version, you should first request a new licence by emailing lizenz@signotec.de, quoting your invoice number. Without a valid licence, the software can only be used in demo mode.
- All customers with an active software maintenance contract (AMS) can download and install the update free of charge as usual. If you do not have such a contract, you are not entitled to the update and must purchase it at your own expense. Please note that the software can no longer be used after the update without a valid and appropriate licence! It is not possible to revert to the old version!
