New version of the signotec Epic interface released

Epic Systems is one of the world’s leading providers of hospital software, with a dominant market position. The eSignature tool in Epic’s software, particularly in the Epic Hyperdrive™ and Hyperspace® versions, enables documents such as patient information sheets or consent forms to be signed electronically.

Based on Epic’s eSignature API, signotec has developed a plug-in that covers all the functionalities of this interface. Once the plug-in has been installed, the signotec Sigma, Omega, Zeta and Gamma signature pads can be used seamlessly within the Epic application, ensuring simple and secure signature capture.

A new version of the signotec Epic interface is now available, featuring further improvements. This version primarily enhances performance and the user experience, particularly in the real-time display of signatures.

The key new features of version 2.1.1:

• Optimised real-time display: The transmission and display of signatures are now noticeably smoother and more precise, particularly for longer signatures.
• Update to the latest Epic API: This update ensures that the interface remains at the cutting edge of technology.
• Migration to .NET 8: The switch to the latest version ensures an even more stable and future-proof solution.
