Mr Bircher, how exactly are signotec’s solutions used at NKB, and which banking processes do they simplify?

NKB uses the signotec Delta signature pad for cash deposits and withdrawals at the counter. Our customers can now view and sign their documents directly on the pad. Furthermore, the archiving process has been optimised using signoSign/2, so that signed documents are stored directly in our archive. This eliminates the need for printing for internal use and saves us considerable resources. Customer documents are still printed out – but only at the customer’s express request.

What were the key factors within NKB in deciding to choose signotec as a partner in the field of e-signatures?

signotec’s solutions are already in use at other banks using Finnova software. The consistently very positive references, the application’s broad range of features and signotec’s commitment convinced us. Thanks to its numerous integration options, the signoSign/2 software offers us sufficient flexibility and supports our existing processes in an optimal manner.

How satisfied are you with the consultancy, installation and use of the signotec solutions?

Both the consultancy and the project management were extremely professional and competent. The support since the introduction and integration has also always been very solution-oriented and is characterised by short response times.

What is the level of acceptance and feedback regarding the solutions among your staff and customers?

The switch from analogue to digital processes has been received extremely positively by both our staff and customers. From the staff’s perspective, the system is very user-friendly and quick to learn. Our customers particularly appreciate the reduction in paper-based documents.

What further opportunities do you see in the use of the signature solutions, or is an expansion of the integration already planned?

We definitely intend to expand the use of signotec’s hardware and software solutions even further in the future in order to fully exploit their benefits. The conversion of further processes, such as document signing during customer onboarding, is already under consideration. In this process, the generated forms will be displayed on a tablet and, once checked by the customer, signed on the signature pad. Subsequent processing will also take place electronically, enabling the entire process to be handled paperlessly.
