signotec at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 in Barcelona

From 4 to 6 November 2025, signotec presented innovative solutions for digital administration in collaboration with its Spanish partner Data Prof at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. The exhibition is regarded as the leading international platform for smart city technologies and attracted over 1,100 exhibitors and representatives from more than 800 cities around the world.

Our presentation focused in particular on data protection and electronic signature processes, which make it possible to make municipal procedures more efficient and legally secure. The interest in our solutions for the digital management of administrative services and citizen services was highlighted by meetings with representatives of Barcelona City Council.

Other areas of application for our solutions in the municipal context include:

• Digital services for citizens: paperless and legally valid signing of applications for identity cards, passports or driving licences.
• Residence and vehicle registration: efficiently managing registrations, cancellations and changes of residence or vehicle registration digitally.
• Administrative and service delivery processes: electronic signing of contracts, authorisations, tenders or internal approvals.
