signotec wins UN tender in Kyrgyzstan

200 Gamma Pads for the Kyrgyz Ministry of Justice
signotec supplied 200 Gamma signature pads to the Probation Department under the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic – as part of an international tender issued by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Programme Office in the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition to the hardware, the tender also covered the associated software for use at locations across Kyrgyzstan.
The requirements in detail
The UN’s requirements were extensive: bidders had to demonstrate proven expertise in the areas of technical support and warranty, as well as project experience in comparable environments. From a technical perspective, three core areas were paramount:
- Capture of biometric signatures
- Secure encryption of signature data
- Forensic analysis of signature behaviour
Why signotec was awarded the contract
signotec clearly prevailed over its competitors in this tender – thanks to a combination of many years of industry experience and the powerful signoPAD API, which enables flexible integration of the signature pads into existing applications. In particular, the ability to perform forensic analysis of biometric signature data and the reliable encryption were decisive evaluation criteria.
Reference in the international public sector environment
This contract underscores the suitability of signotec’s solutions for demanding applications in the public sector – including at an international level. The collaboration with a UN agency and the Kyrgyz Ministry of Justice demonstrates that signotec’s technical and quality standards are also convincing within the context of complex, multinational tendering processes.
