Electronic attendance certification with e-signature

The integration of the signotec Sigma and signotec Omega signature pads into the XNP base application of the German Federal Chamber of Notaries enables notaries to perform electronic notarization without media discontinuity. With this solution, notarial deeds can be created, read, and signed directly as electronic documents—without printing, manual signatures on paper, or subsequent scanning.

Features & Benefits

The signotec signature pads are integrated directly into the XNP workflow and can be used immediately at the workplace. This eliminates a significant digital break in the certification process. The solution enables the parties involved to provide their handwritten electronic signatures directly on the signature pad—completely digitally and without any media discontinuity.

Seamless media presence certification
Thanks to integration into the XNP base application, documents are created digitally, changes are applied immediately, and signatures are captured electronically. Printing or scanning processes are no longer necessary.
Fully integrated
The signature pads are directly integrated into the XNP base application and work according to the plug-and-play principle, without requiring any additional configuration.
Efficient
Digital attendance certification saves time, reduces paper consumption, and cuts down on administrative work. All steps remain in the digital system, and changes can be made without media discontinuity.
Secure and confidential
The solution guarantees the confidentiality, integrity, and neutrality of electronic documents. Private third parties have no access to the content, and the security requirements specified by law are met.
Legally compliant according to BeurkG
Electronic transcripts and signatures comply with the requirements of Section 13a of the Notarization Act. The parties involved sign in the presence of the notary, and the electronic signatures are displayed pictorially in the transcript.
