When is the power supply required?

Some computers do not provide the 500 mA required by the USB specification for each USB port. This insufficient power supply means that the device either fails to start at all or switches off sporadically. To ensure a reliable power supply, we offer an optional power supply unit. This power supply unit has been developed with regard to power and voltage performance. Please use only original signotec parts, as otherwise the warranty will be void.
