Electronic signatures in Limex workshop software

Before the integration of signotec, signatures were mainly manual on paper, which led to media breaks between software, PDF and paper filing, longer processing times and costly archiving.

On December 1, 2021, Limex submitted its first request to signotec. Thanks to direct and uncomplicated communication between the development teams, the electronic signature function was already presented to sales partners and workshops in Germany and Austria in February 2022.
Thanks to this close cooperation, end users – the workshops and their customers – were able to quickly benefit from the new function.

The Limex workshop software has been expanded to include the signotec solution signoSign/Universal. Documents can now be digitally signed directly from the software via

• signature pads
• tablets or smartphones.

The signatures are stored securely in the PDF document, including encrypted biometric data. Both advanced (FES) and qualified electronic signatures (QES) can be used.
