Digital signatures at Siam Commercial Bank – implemented with signotec “Made in Germany”

signotec has once again demonstrated that innovative technologies “Made in Germany” can set international standards. In close cooperation with our partner Point IT Consulting from Bangkok, the Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) was equipped with over 3000 signotec Gamma pads.

SCB, Thailand’s oldest commercial bank and one of the country’s largest credit institutions, uses the pads in 643 branches. The aim is to digitally capture signatures for financial transactions – an efficient, paperless, and environmentally friendly solution that significantly optimizes processes in the branches. SCB tested signotec technology in a pilot project back in 2020 and was impressed by the technical quality, user-friendliness, and attractive price-performance ratio of the products.

With signotec Gamma pads, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) can seamlessly capture digital signatures—both for building a central signature database for new customers and for supplementing existing customer data that has not yet been digitally captured. This makes branch processes significantly more efficient, paperless, and standardized, which shortens processing times and improves the customer experience in the long term.
